Description

Dark Horse Presents #24                   Comic
Featuring Aliens, Race of Scorpions, Homicide & Police Beat. Awesome!
Cover by: Mark A. Nelson & Chris Chalenor

Dark Horse Presents is an anthology series, each issue collecting several new short stories. Some stories are one-shots while many span several issues.

Marvel has Marvel Comics Presents; DC had DC Comics Presents; and… Dark Horse Comics has… well, you can guess. Dark Horse Presents isn’t just a clone of the big two’s try-out books. For one, it’s published in a hefty black-and-white format, packing two or three times as many stories into each issue as any of its competitors. Also, the range of stories is, well, frankly amazing! A single issue may start with a terrible spoof of Dark Horse itself, move on to a gritty true-crime drama such as Sin City, switch over to a fairy tale adapted from Oscar Wilde, cut loose with a Predator tale, then return to part two of the spoof. Unbelievable! Good Stuff!!

Dark Horse Presents #24 features, Aliens, Race of Scorpions, Homicide & Police Beat. … All presented in Glorious Black & White. Awesome! Starting with Aliens: Aliens doesn’t get any better… or scarier than when it’s done by the original black & white 1988 series writer and artist, Mark Verheiden & Mark A. Nelson. Presenting an all-new Aliens “side bar” story revealing the Aliens origin, Alien Queen, Aliens Homeworld, Aliens natural predators, Aliens propagation to other worlds and their encounters with man. Fascinating!! See the Scans!!! Plus, Leopoldo Duranona continues his exciting five-part science fiction epic Race of Scorpions and just in time for Halloween, Kull writer John Arcudi and The American artist Grant Miehm team up on a tale of murder and… cannibalism in the wilds of New York in Homicide: A Whiff of Madness… and last but not least an off-beat story of an officer’s police beat.

Dark Horse Presents #24 contains:

“Aliens: Theory of Alien Propagation”   8 pages
