Relive the adventure… the nostalgia of 2000’s “Titan A. E.”. Titan A.E. was an animated post-apocalyptic science fiction adventure film directed by both Don Bluth and Gary Goldman. The film stars the voices of Matt Damon, Bill Pullman, John Leguizamo, Nathan Lane, Janeane Garofalo, and Drew Barrymore. The title “Titan A. E.” refers to the spacecraft central to the plot, with A.E. meaning “After Earth”. The film’s animation technique combines traditional hand-drawn animation and extensive use of computer-generated imagery to create an animated epic space opera like no other…
In the year 3028 A.D., Earth is being attacked by the Drej, which are aliens made of pure energy! The Drej mother-ship destroys Earth with an energy beam just as hundreds of space vehicles manage to escape with the last of mankind aboard! One of the escapees, a young man learns that he has to find a hidden Earth ship before an enemy alien species does in order to secure the survival of humanity.
This three-issue limited series is a prequel to the 2000, 20th Century Fox, animated film. The story here focuses on the events that lead to the events in the film. Can the human race hold off the Drej and preserve their future? This comics series provides additional Titan A.E. / Drej epic action as an action-packed lead-in to the film.
Story/Spoilers
In issue #1, A scientific outpost that is working to ensure mankind’s survival is under siege by the Drej, and the Drej royal family is at odds over what planet to attack next…

Next in issue #2, The Drej turn their attention towards Earth! This war in a faraway galaxy will decide the fate of Earth and mankind alike, as the Drej King loses his throne.
Finally in issue #3, The battle between King and Queen Drej has been settled, and Earth stands to be conquered as a result. Now it’s up to a small band of humans to sneak onto the Drej mothership and prevent the invasion force from being launched.
