The old Tyrant Gods want to reclaim Earth, but there’s one man with the ability to prevent them, because the knowledge has been passed from father to son for 10,000 years. He is known as the… Twilight Man!
Story/Spoilers
In issue # 1, “Part One: Wind from the East”, For 10,000 years Tyrant Gods ruled the world. Then came the Expulsion, when magicians and adventurers banded together and cast out the gods. For 10,000 years, the knowledge and weapons of god-fighting were passed down from father to son, so each generation would have a champion trained to stand on behalf of humanity… should the gods return. It is not 1989, and 46 years of nuclear explosions have torn passageways back into our world. Slowly, the Tyrant Gods are stirring. Humanity has one hope. Against light and darkness stands… the Twilight Man!
Next in issue # 2, “Part Two: Bedtime Story”, This morning, Mick Kincaid was an actor whose father had delusions of being a Twilight Man, the enemy of the gods. Now, with his father wounded, Mick is locked in battle with Ahriman, Zoroastrian god of evil, and this day is not over yet.
Next in issue # 3, “Part Three: Nightmare World”, In a battle for the Eye of Horus, a weapon to wield against Ahiram, Mick Kincaid fought and banished the god, Pan. During the battle, Mick discovered other gods were in hiding around the world, expanding their influence.
Finally in issue # 4, “Part Four: Wind Fall”, Mick was defeated by Dahak, Ahriman’s son and Ahriman still holds sway over Los Angeles. Ohrmudz, Zoroastrian god of light, has disintegrated Riley, Mick and Kate, and now begins his final confrontation with Ahriman.
