Buck Rogers is a fictional space opera character created by Philip Francis Nowlan in the novella, Armageddon 2419 A.D., and subsequently appearing in multiple media. The adventures of Buck Rogers in comic strips, novels, radio, television, movies and video games became an important part of American popular culture to the point where Buck Rogers became a household name. Now the fame of Buck Rogers in known through-out the world with the franchise still going strong as ever.

Buck Rogers, the first, best, and original Sci-Fi hero returns with Howard Chaykin drawing and writing this action-packed incarnation of this iconic title. Over eighty years after the creation of the newspaper strip that became a household word, Howard Chaykin has returned the character and his universe back to basics: Buck Rogers, former World War I ace is accidentally suspended in time only to awaken to a new and different earth, 500 years in the future, fragmented by war and ruled by an omnipotent force – the Chinese. Now, Buck along with Colonel Wilma Deering, begins a new fight, to free the United States

Story/Spoilers
In issue #1, Wilma and Buck fight off bandit gangs in a post-apocalyptic future where America is ruled by Chinese conquerors.

Next in issue #2, Against Wilma’s objections, Buck recruits Dewei and Zeng to infiltrate the Han.

Next in issue #3, Buck and Wilma fight off an attack from Black Barney. Killer Kane and Ardala discuss an alliance with the Han while Zeng and Dwei uncover the nefarious plans of the Han.

Finally in issue #4, Wilma’s undercover mission is exposed by Ardala Kane. Wilma is subsequently rescued by Zheng and Dewei. Meanwhile, Buck unites the warring factions to fight against the Han. After defeating the Han, Buck makes peace with them to help rebuild the country.
