The story begins with Bruce Banner approaching Tony Stark to assist in curing him of the failed super-soldier serum that still runs through his body. The Leader (an Ultimate amalgam of the original Leader and Pete Wisdom) is shown to be attempting to obtain both men’s blood. Tony Stark and Bruce Banner travel to a Stark facility and Stark places Banner under extreme environments (simulating conditions on Venus and Mars), causing him to become the Hulk and revealing that the Hulk is inhumanly capable of adjusting to new environments and situations…

Story/Spoilers
In part #1, It’s the Ultimate war between the Hulk and Iron Man! Desperate for a cure to his dark disease, scientist Bruce Banner begs Tony Stark for a release from the curse of the Hulk! Stark agrees, but in the midst of the experimentation, something goes horribly wrong. And you know what happens next: man and monster collide!

Next in part #2, The grey goliath is in full smash mode as he rampages through a Stark facility designed specifically to hold him-and all that stands between him and total destruction is the gleaming gladiator called Iron Man! Unfortunately, in the mad rush to stop the Hulk, Tony Stark has jumped into a suit of armor that happens to have no weapons systems! That’s bad news for Tony-and worse news for the world!

Next in part #3, Who is Peter Wisdom, and what does he want with Tony Stark and Bruce Banner? And why can’t either hero tap into the powers of their alter egos?

Finally in part #4, The full scope of Peter Wisdom’s terrifying plan is revealed, but Tony Stark and Bruce Banner are powerless to stop his mad scheme! Has the world traded the horror of the Hulk for a menace many times more deadly?
