Adam Van Helsing, the love of Vampirella’s life, is a one man uprising against Lilith’s cruelty. Vampirella arrives just in time to turn the tide. With their passion rekindled, the two wage bloody war all over Hell. But when Vampirella is forced to choose between her heart and her mother, what will she do?  One will live and one will die!

Vampirella should be dead. Both she and her lover, Adam Van Helsing, were brutally murdered. Instead, Vampirella finds herself in Drakulon, the hellish dimension of her birth.

Once the land was sustained by a mighty river of blood, a tributary of the legendary Styx. Now, Drakulon has become a barren wasteland, its inhabitants reduced to savages fighting over what few drops of blood they can find. Vampirella soon learns her own mother is responsible for the land’s decay. Lilith, old and weakened, has diverted the river’s energy to sustain her own life, seemingly heedless of the destruction to the once-vibrant land she rules.

Adam, for mysterious reasons, has undertaken the task of reviving the river of blood and restoring Drakulon. If Vampirella chooses to aid her lover, she may have to kill her own mother. But if she sides with Lilith, then both Adam and Drakulon are surely doomed.

Story/Spoilers
In issue #1, Waking from what she thought was the void of death, Vampirella finds herself back on Drakulon, and in the company of her long-time (and now deceased) lover Adam van Helsing. Drakulon is revealed to be a region of Hell ruled by Lilith, Vampirella’s mother. Drakulon is dying, it’s rivers of blood have run dry and the land is ravaged by foragers desperate for blood.

Arriving in the now desolate Kubek’en, Vampirella’s native city, Adam and Vampirella are attacked by Lilith’s minions who try to kill Adam and take Vampirella to Lilith. They fail. There is a link between Lilith and Drakulon, and there is not enough energy to sustain them both. Vampirella sides with Drakulon.

Finally in issue #2, In one of Lilith’s temples Vampirella talks with her mother who tries to kill her. Adam saves Vampirella and they travel across Drakulon fighting many demons who try to prevent them from reaching the source of Drakulon’s blood supply. Adam frees the river of blood which sustains Drakulon, but at the cost of Lilith’s life force.

Vampirella and Lilith meet one last time as an army of demons attack Adam. Lilith explains that Drakulon will need a new leader once she is gone, and Adam is being tested for that role. The hand of God reaches out and destroys Lilith, Vampirella goes back to Earth and Adam faces the hordes of Drakulon.
