“We Don’t Kill Spiders” is a Viking-era supernatural crime thriller. The story features an engrossing murder mystery with two unlikely detectives who are complete opposites. Bjorn, a skeptic, detective, and atheist is summoned to a village by its leader, Jarl Ulf, to solve a series of murders. Five families have been slaughtered, their bodies decapitated and ritual runes placed all around the house as if a part of some ritual. Jarl Ulf believes the murders were committed by a witch whose family he executed several years ago. He believes the witch, Revna, has returned to seek revenge. After examining the crime scenes, Bjorn pays the witch a visit for questioning…

Story/Spoilers:
In issue #1, “Chapter 1 – The Last Death Witch”, In the early Viking Age, a faithless Norseman detective is summoned to a Scandinavian hamlet where a series of murders have occurred. Discovering the dark and bloody history of the village he investigates the local outcast, a necromantic witch who brings his atheistic values into question. Determined to prevent further homicides the two band together to discover the identity of a serial killer.

Next in issue #2, “Chapter 2 – Scum of the Earth”, In the early Viking age, a witch and a Viking detective must work together to solve a serial murder. While investigating a crime scene, Revna the witch has mistakenly summoned a demon named Moccus and awoken something deadly under the village. Bjorn, the Norseman detective, learns the truth about the village’s curse. Surrounded by death, they are in for the fight of their lives.

Next in issue #3, “Chapter 3 – The Black Goat”, Horrified by what has transpired in the village, Bjorn and the Jarls’ men continue to search for the serial killer who is still on the loose. The time has come for Revna to meet the Queen of Shadows in her domain and confront the malevolent entity pulling the strings behind this series of murders.

Finally, in issue #4, “Chapter 4 – Dawn of Twilight”, The identity of the serial killer tormenting a prosperous Viking village has been revealed, and Bjorn and Revna find themselves in a life-and-death struggle against this deranged psychopath. Meanwhile, the Black Goat of the Woods, a sinister entity summoned by a deranged cult, begins spreading its darkness across the land.
