From the pages of Wolf Moon, the violence and horrors that a werewolf can inflict as it slaughters innocents in savage horrible ways shows the devastation a creature like this would actually cause. How dangerous can a werewolf actually be? Wolf Moon doesn’t shy away from showing the ferocity of a werewolf in its graphically-violent, blood and guts images… and it doesn’t stop after those initial pages. People need to learn visually and/or otherwise that werewolves are extremely dangerous creatures!

Stories/Spoilers
In issue #1, “Of Wolf and Man”, When Dillon Chase’s family was slaughtered by the wolf, his life was forever changed. Dillon sets out to destroy the creature, but he soon learns that lycanthropy is far more insidious than the legends ever said. With each full moon, he draws closer to the monster – and with each full moon, he becomes more aware that in order to stop the wolf, he must kill a human being and become a fearful monster himself.

Next in issue #2, “Hunters”, How do you hunt a werewolf if a different person becomes the monster with every cycle of the moon? The Wolf continues to elude Dillon, and now the trail is going cold. Hoping to uncover some clues, Dillon turns to a reclusive expert on werewolf legends, and what he learns crushes any hope of ever destroying the creature.

Next in issue #3, “Rampage”, Dillon Chase continues his hunt for revenge – and the werewolf continues its slaughter across the American Midwest. Hold onto your hearts and your entrails…

Next in issue #4, “Long Night”, The brawl continues, and it appears Dillon has met his match…not in the Wolf, but in a tough-as-nails hunter who will stop at nothing to reach his goal. As fur and .50 caliber rounds fly, Dillon must think fast and keep moving if he hopes to survive. If the Wolf doesn’t kill him, this other hunter surely will! Is the Wolf powerful enough to escape two hunters? Or does the creature have a mysterious guardian angel? The identity of the fiendish murderer who has been slaughtering the Wolf’s hosts is revealed.

Next in issue #5, “Ties That Bind”, How did Cayce transition from loving wife and mother to monster hunter? As she and Dillon head to West Virginia to confront the Wolf, memories of the night that changed her life forever flood her mind while Dillon’s resolve to kill the Wolf is strengthened as he vows for his vengeance. Elsewhere, the murderer who has been butchering the Wolf’s hosts is determined to see his work through to its bloody conclusion and embarks on a sinister endgame.

Finally in issue #6, Dillon has never been closer to stopping the Wolf, but a killer stands in his way. Using ancient rituals, the killer plans to turn the body-jumping gifts of the Wolf to his own vile purposes. Unless Dillon and Cayce act quickly, the death toll to this point will look like nothing. Must Dillon make the ultimate sacrifice to stop a madman and destroy the monster that ruined his life?
