Story/Spoilers
In part #1, Danielle Baptiste returns home to New Orleans to come to grips with her new role as the Angelus, the human bearer of the primal force of Light. To complicate matters she must sort out her undefined relationship with Finch while maintaining control of the Angelus host, some of whom covet her power.

Next in part #2, Danielle Baptiste, the newest bearer of The Angelus, begins to explore what this new role means for her, learning what the Angelus truly is, and how it ties into our notions angels and even Heaven itself. But as she uncovers these truths, Dani begins to realize she might have surrendered any control she has over her own life.

Next in part #3, Since the beginning of time the Angelus has been diametrically opposed to The Darkness. But will Danielle Baptiste, the newest bearer of The Angelus, be able to choose her own path when confronted by sometimes ally Jackie Estacado, bearer of The Darkness?

Next in part #4, Casting The Darkness behind her, Dani moves further into the Light to accept her new role as The Angelus. But a familiar adversary is not about to let her and her companion Finch settle into New Orleans without incident! And will Dani see the vipers in her midst before it’s too late?

Next in part #5, Just as Dani and Finch’s relationship reaches a turning point, Dani must embrace the role of the Angelus once again, finally facing down an enemy who has lurked in the shadows and plotted her doom. Forced to make a choice between her humanity and her life as the Angelus, what will Dani choose?

Finally in part #6, The final battle for the mantle of the Angelus reaches its climax as Dani Baptiste takes on a foe who knows her every weakness, inside and out. Will Dani have to sacrifice everything dear to her, even her humanity, to survive?
