First in the Call of Duty: Zombies video game… And now in Dark Horse Comics, the Call of Duty: Zombies 2 comic mini-series. Featuring crucial, never-before-seen moments in the Zombies timeline!

Based on the first-person shooter survival zombie mode of 2008’s Call of Duty: World at War video game. The COD: World at War – Zombies game is set during World War II where a military bunker must be defended from attacking Nazi zombie soldiers. Wave after wave of Zombies continually assault and break windows in an effort to get to players. Players attack/defend and repair boarded-up windows to the bitter end. Sadly, when a player or all players are attacked/killed… it’s game over. This seemingly small mini-game from so long ago is what sparked the fire for a undead franchise that almost trumps the base game in popularity.

Story/Spoilers
In issue #1, The year is 1910, the place is Morocco, and there is a job that needs doing. The man to do it? A commanding officer in the French Foreign Legion. The prize? An artifact of unspeakable power. The price? More than he bargained for…
