After his secret identity as Daredevil is publicly exposed, Matt Murdock is forced to reckon with the problems and legal ramifications that emerged as a result of his public outing. But there isn’t much time for Matt to dwell on his problems, as a new love appears on the horizon and one of Daredevil’s most dangerous foes returns to take over the NYC underworld. And if that isn’t enough, Daredevil also faces murder charges, the return of one of his deadliest foes, Typhoid Mary, and the Kingpin’s attempt to restore his fallen empire. And the surprise ending changes Daredevil’s place in the Marvel Universe forever!

Story/Spoilers
In part #1, Power Man and Iron Fist try to get Matt to help the White Tiger beat an unfair murder rap.

Next in part #2, Matt and Foggy defend Hector against the murder charge brought against him.

Next in part #3, When his trial ends with a guilty verdict, Hector takes matters into his own hands.

Next in part #4, Daredevil saves a blind girl from being hit by a truck. Wilbur Day turns in his stilts to Murdock and tells him that the Owl has taken over the Kingpin’s turf. Daredevil begins his quest to bring the Owl down.

Next in part #5, Daredevil continues to interfere with the Owl’s underworld business. Milla visits Murdock to see if he is Daredevil. Rosenthal is killed while taking a swim.

Next in part #6, Mr. Rosenthal’s body is found. Milla and Matt decide to go on a date, but Foggy tries to talk his friend out of it. Matt asks Cage to help him with the Owl situation and gets a good reprimand, “Sweet Christmas” style.

Next in part #7, Matt and Milla’s date is interrupted by the police who want to question Matt about the death of Mr. Rosenthal.

Next in part #8, Matt tries to apologize to Milla for their interrupted date, takes down the Owl as Daredevil and learns that the Kingpin is back in town.

Next in part #9, Kingpin pulls Mary out of her “normal” life as a soap opera star and back on the road to insanity. Milla decides to try and get closer to Matt. Fisk begins to consolidate his power and return to his role as the Kingpin of Crime. Matt and Milla start out on a date which is interrupted by Typhoid Mary setting Matt on fire.

Next in part #10, Story focuses on Fisk’s bid for power in trying to return as the Kingpin of crime. Story ends at the same time and in the same way as issue #46, with Typhoid Mary interrupting Matt and Milla’s date by setting Matt on fire.

Next in part #11, Matt protects Milla from Typhoid with the help of Luke and Jessica. Bullseye shows up at Fisk’s looking for his old job back.

Next in part #12, Bullseye shows up at Matt’s place to kill another one of his girlfriends. Daredevil takes Bullseye down hard and carves the cross hair tattoo into his forehead with a knife.

Next in part #13, Tired of the invasions into his life and years of dealing with the evils of Wilson Fisk, Daredevil beats the Kingpin to a pulp and declares himself the new Kingpin of New York City.
