Parody Press presents a couple classic superhero parodies all tied up in one comic, along with a curveball spoof at the end. Starting off with the Incredible Hulk, who’s origin story has shifted and now made him the Incredible Punk; The Mighty Fore, who is Thor if he was into golfing; And Xarol, a twist spoof featuring the Cat in the Hat in a terrifying existential experience.

Doctor Bummer rushes out onto a nuclear test site to scatter some punks that are hanging out near a soon-to-detonate bomb. They refuse to move and the bomb detonates, wildly altering Doctor Bummer’s DNA. Thus the Incredible Punk is born. He embraces the punk lifestyle and then eventually seeks revenge on the men who rushed the nuclear experiment. He attacks and defeats them, but is confronted by his old coworker, who is now a communist. The Incredible Punk annihilates and humiliates him.

Doctor Reinhold Snake is playing golf one day when he is zapped by a mysterious lightning. Granting him elite golfing powers, he goes on to become a crime fighter. After stopping a petty robbery and having a mental breakdown, he gets into a conflict with a spaceship. His opponent ends up being his old caddy, who he brutally rejected when he first got his powers. Fore destroys his spaceship and ends his streak of terror.

“Xarol: The Creature Without a Schtick”   5 pages

A creature called Xarol one day materializes in somebody’s home. It begins to eat nonstop, growing larger and taller with each meal. Eventually it becomes big enough to become a threat to national security, so the military launches an assault against it. Their attack is worthless and the story is ended by a small creature crying about a copyright infringement, since Xarol looks like the Cat in the Hat.
